APRIL’S MUSIC STUDIO

April began studying piano at age 5 and flute at age 6. At the age of 7, her family left the US to be foreign missionaries. She grew up in Costa Rica, Cuba, and the Dominican Republic, where she continued to study music in the National Conservatory of Music as a teenager. April is bilingual and teaches in both English and Spanish. 

 

April has been teaching private piano and flute lessons since 2008 and for the Antelope Valley Music Academy for 4 years. April also enjoys accompanying and playing for events such as weddings and concerts.  

 

April has lived in Charleston since graduating from college, and along with teaching private lessons, she is the church pianist for Iglesia Bautista Victoria in West Ashley. April´s goal is to not just help develope good technique and knowledge of music, but to also help them find their love and passion for music.
